Science journal week 7
In week 7 we made the vortex wing out of paper it didn't fly because it wasn't heavy enough when I dropped off the playground. I wonder if it would if it was Made out of wood. My learning is multistructural because I have told you some of my information.

Week 5
In week 5 we learned about all of the different forces of flight. They are lift weight drag and thrust. All for are used on a airplane  .We looked at gliding vs flying .l wonder if a plane stopped its engine if it would glide? My data gathering is multistructural because I have told you some of my information. My learning for inferring is multistructural.

Week 4
In week 4 we experimented with the trebuchet. Our first shot went 2 metres. Our second shot went 11.18 metres. Our third shot went 15.6m. Our best shot went 22.2.

Rocket balloon with fishing wire
Week 3
In week 3 we did a rocket balloon with fishing wire because the friction on the fishing wire let the balloon go smoothly. I am at relational for both inferring and gathering data because I know what to do.

Rocket balloon
Week 2
In week 2 we did a rocket balloon. We were learning about forces acting on the wool. The friction wouldn't let the straw go as far as we thought. The forces acting on the balloon is the air blowing out of the balloon called the thrust . I am at relational for both inferring and gathering data because I know what to do.

Slimeing mr Anderson
Week 1
In week 1 we slimed Mr Anderson. I walked into the class in the morning I saw the teachers with buckets and ingredients. We mixed the ingredients with water and made slime. After that we walked to the school hall. Mr Anderson sat on a chair. The kids lined up and they all tipped slime on mr Anderson.  I am at relational for both inferring and gathering data because I know what to do.

Science journal week 6
This week we had to make a origami helicopter. I liked it because I like making lots of origami. I learnt about the differences between flying and gliding.
I wonder if it will glide upside down? or if it would fly if it was made out of cardboard?
I am at multistructural for both gathering data and inferring because I can not connect my ideas yet.
